Spanish translation for student experience

Students who select Spanish as their preferred language in the Sown To Grow app will now see more complete translation of text across the Sown To Grow app. When a student toggles their language selector to Spanish (located near the top right of the screen), all text that is not a custom variable will automatically translate to Spanish for the student. This includes the reflection prompts, the student resources page, the page navigation, the date range indicating which week a student is reflecting in, and other key pieces of information.

Text that will not be automatically translated at this time includes the name of the module, the name of the SEL lesson, and responses from teachers. This is intentional, as those pieces of information are specifically named in the case of the module & lesson name. Or, in the case of the teacher response, may contain expressions that a teacher intentionally shares with a student that do not directly translate.

Dynamic translation for Spanish works across all pages on the student app experience in Sown To Grow. We hope this added translation ability improves the experience for our Spanish speaking learners!
