Technology plays an important role in helping surface concerning student reflections, but it works best when paired with human awareness, knowledge, care and judgment.

To help us catch language the system may miss today, we’ve introduced a new “Report a Missing Alert” feature for admins and teachers! This form allows you to quickly share words, slang, abbreviations, phrases, or context that should have triggered an alert for concerning reflections but didn’t. This is especially helpful for informal, regional, or evolving language that algorithms don’t always recognize right away. Your input helps us identify blind spots, improve detection, and strengthen our shared safety net for students.

Access the feature by click this link: Report Unidentified Student Alerts.

Note for teachers: The "Report a Missing Alert" form helps us improve the system by identifying language it may miss. It does not replace flagging a concerning reflection as an Alert to notify administrators at your school. Teachers should continue to flag concerning reflections to ensure students receive timely support. Click here for instructions for flagging concerning reflections.

Thank you for partnering with us to support student well-being.
