Resources for identifying federal & state grants

The federal and state grant landscape is constantly evolving. We are here to be your partner in finding funding sources that allow you to best serve your students and community. Below are two tools to help you stay informed about projected federal opportunities:

  • Greenlights Grant Initiative:  Provides an up-to-date list of grants focused on promoting school safety, wellness, and whole-child support
  • Grants.gov: Provides a search tool to view past and forecasted grant opportunities by federal agency
Below are examples of state-specific funds that can be used to fund Sown To Grow in your school or district:
  • California: Community Schools Partnership Program (CCSPP) Implementation Grant, and Children & Youth Behavioral Health Initiative (CYBHI) reimbursement
  • Colorado: Expelled and At-Risk Student Services (EARSS) Grant
