Sown To Grow Named 2026 Social-Emotional Learning Solution of the Year

We're excited to announce that Sown To Grow has been named the 2026 Social-Emotional Learning (SEL) Solution of the Year in the Student Personalization & Engagement category of the EdTech Breakthrough Awards.
This annual awards program recognizes the world's most innovative companies and technologies transforming education. Now in its eighth year, the organization receives thousands of nominations from across the globe and serves as a benchmark for excellence and innovation in educational technology.
This recognition reflects what has always made Sown To Grow different: our belief that technology should strengthen human connection—not replace it.
While many SEL solutions focus primarily on curriculum or assessment, Sown To Grow helps schools build the relationships that are foundational to student success. Through quick weekly emotional check-ins, students share how they're feeling, reflect on their experiences, and connect with trusted adults who can respond in meaningful ways. The result is a simple, scalable routine that amplifies student voice, strengthens belonging, and helps educators identify and support student needs before they escalate.

Today, schools across the country use Sown To Grow data and insights to support MTSS initiatives, monitor student well-being, strengthen attendance efforts, and measure SEL growth. Educators gain real-time visibility into student needs, while students benefit from consistent opportunities to feel seen, heard, and supported.

Research has shown that this relationship-centered approach can improve schools' sense of belonging, attendance, student-teacher connections, academic performance, and social-emotional competencies. Most importantly, it helps create learning environments where every student knows they belong.
We're honored to receive this recognition from EdTech Breakthrough and grateful to the educators, students, counselors, and leaders who partner with us every day. This award belongs to the schools and districts that continue to demonstrate the transformative power of listening to students and building relationships that help them thrive.
Together, we're proving that when students feel connected, they grow.
